This is a recent editorial discussing the British system and various systemic biases that prevail amongst the medical profession. ..."doctors commonly fail to identify and tackle disability issues." Attitudinal changes amongst physicians are necessary to assist the increasing ranks of the general population with disabilities. Equally important and relevant to the CAPD membership, the editorial cites the need for physicians and their organizations to combat discrimination and make accommodations among their own ranks.
